Let's reserve a rental car!
Reservations can be made through the website or at each location.
It is especially crowded during summer holidays and holidays such as Golden Week. Early reservations are recommended!
You can make reservations through the website up to 1 hour before pick-up.
Pick-up / Return location
NIPPON Rent-A-Car has locations near stations and airports nationwide!
One-way use (drop-off) is possible between NIPPON Rent-A-Car locations.
*Some locations cannot be used as drop return locations.

Choose a car
All passenger cars and wagons
are non-smoking
To make a reservation, you must select the "class" of your vehicle.
At Nippon Rent-A-Car, we define vehicle classes for each size and type of vehicle, and prices are determined by the class and usage time.
Pick-up
Please come to the location at your reserved time.
If you are at an airport location, please go to the designated counter.
What to prepare on the day
- A valid driver's license for the person driving the vehicle
(If you forget it, we will not be able to lend it to you) - Nippon Rent-A-Car a Car member card (corporate customers)
- Credit card or cash for payment
*If paying by cash, auxiliary documents specified by our company
Pick-up procedures
- ① When you arrive at the location, please tell the staff your [reservation number] or [name].
- ② Please confirm your reservation details and sign the rental certificate (rental car contract). If more than one person is driving the vehicle, please sign all of their names on the rental document.
- ③ Please pay the amount you plan to use the rental car in advance.
As a general rule, please pay by credit card.

Return
Please return to the location by the scheduled return time.
For fuel (gasoline, etc.), please return the vehicle with a full tank at the nearest gas station to the location where return the vehicle. Please present your refueling receipt to the location.
*Depending on the car model, there is a specified oil type (regular gasoline, high octane gasoline, diesel oil).
Payment to be made at the time return
① Excess Charges
If the scheduled return time is exceeded, an overage fee will be charged as specified in the price list.
- If you wish to change the scheduled return time, please contact the location in advance.
② Halfway Cancellation Charges
If return is significantly earlier than the scheduled time, the basic fee for the unused period will be refunded, but Halfway Cancellation Charges.
Please note that if the difference between the scheduled return time at the time pick-up and the actual return time is less than 24 hours, we will not be able to refund the difference.
- If you wish to change the scheduled return time, please contact the location in advance.
Halfway Cancellation Charges: [Basic fee corresponding to the rental contract period - Basic fee corresponding to the period from rental to return] x 50% [However, up to 6,000 yen. ] - The limit for microbuses is subject to separate regulations.
- Consumption tax (including local consumption tax) is not charged for Halfway Cancellation Charges.
③ Fuel
If for some reason it is not possible to return vehicle with a full tank, payment will be made based on a separately determined mileage conversion rate or the amount remaining in the fuel gauge.
Please note that in this case, the cost will be higher than the actual refueling amount.
